The Role

TOTEME is looking for a Product Developer to join our team in Stockholm full-time. In this role, you will be responsible for developing products from sketch handover to pre-production sample (PPS) sign-off for our apparel collection. You will report to the Head of Product Development and work closely with the Design, Pattern, Technical, Production, and Raw Material teams to ensure seamless product execution.

Responsibilities

• Order and deliver high-quality prototypes, SMS and PPS on time and within a target margin.
• Meet deadlines and communicate key milestones to cross-functional teams.
• Ensure that developed products are fit for purpose for the customer, brand and business.
• Build and maintain a close working relationship with the Design team, acting as a technical partner. Attend fittings and reviews, providing proactive input to ensure optimal quality and fit.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with all manufacturers, negotiating costs, lead times, and technical aspects to ensure the design vision is upheld throughout the development process.
• Identify potential risks and challenges at all production stages, offering recommendations with a focus on quality, pricing, and margin optimization.
• Enter data into our PLM system accurately throughout the development process.
• Deliver products in line with TOTEME’s sustainability standards and values, making sure that relevant product data is always accessible and updated for the sustainability team.

Your Profile

• Extensive experience in product development, specifically within the tailoring and outerwear categories.
• Able to work with senior designers, understanding and interpreting their creative aesthetic and design vision, and translating this to teams and vendors.
• Skilled in managing supplier relationships to meet demands efficiently.
• Experienced with managing the critical path, ensuring collections are delivered on time.
• Able to manage a budget with commercial awareness and understanding of product cost, achieving a balance between creativity and commercial implications throughout the process.
• Demonstrated expert technical product knowledge.
• Knowledge of Office and Adobe programs and PLM systems.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

This is a full-time position based at TOTEME's headquarters in Stockholm to start as soon as possible.
