The Role
TOTEME is looking for an E-commerce Director to join our team in Stockholm on parental leave cover from June 2026. As the E-commerce Director, you will be heading up the global E-commerce team at TOTEME, ensuring a commercially strong, innovative and on-brand e-commerce business. You will oversee the full customer journey from traffic acquisition, through conversion, site performance, front-end development, operations and innovation, to post-purchase experience, ensuring a locally relevant and scalable business. You will also oversee the development of our global marketplace business and be a key commercial stakeholder amongst Brand-Marketing & Communications teams. You will report to the Chief Commercial Officer.
Responsibilities
Lead and develop the global e-commerce team consisting of fifteen employees, of which five are direct reports, across digital merchandising, performance marketing, e-commerce product, digital creative, operations and customer service
Responsible for the global E-commerce P&L and Farfetch P&L
Own and drive TOTEME’s global e-commerce strategy and roadmap, strengthening the brand’s position in the international digital fashion landscape
Overall responsibility for the performance and continuous development of toteme.com, ensuring a premium, end-to-end luxury customer journey, as well as global marketplace (Farfetch) & affiliate performance
Drive traffic growth and digital marketing performance in line with ROAS targets across global and local channels (paid social, SEO, SEM, paid shopping, Google, Meta, affiliates and local platforms)
Ensure continuous development and optimization of e-commerce platforms and the e-com tech/app stack (Shopify, partner websites and apps) in collaboration with internal teams and external partners
Deliver an on-brand on-site experience while optimizing conversion rates and reducing return rates through UX/UI development, testing and data-driven insights
Lead locally relevant merchandising and shopping experiences across markets
Be a key stakeholder in campaign and seasonal planning alongside Merchandising, Buying, Marketing and Brand
Own the post-purchase experience, including delivery services, returns and customer service
Manage the e-commerce budget, digital infrastructure and external partners to enable scalable, cost-efficient and high-quality global operations
Participate in and contribute to TOTEME’s social and environmental sustainability strategy.
Your Profile
Proven experience in delivering a cohesive, on-brand e-commerce experience within the luxury or premium designer fashion segment, with a strong understanding of how digital touchpoints strengthen the brand positioning and representation
Leadership experience and the ability to inspire, motivate, and challenge teams, creating clarity, engagement, and commitment across functions and levels of the organisation.
Proven commercial ownership of e-commerce performance, including revenue growth, profitability, and contribution to overall business targets.
Experience setting and executing a long-term e-commerce strategy aligned with brand positioning and business growth.
Deep understanding of key e-commerce areas such as traffic, conversion, site operations, site performance, front-end development and innovation
Solid knowledge of e-commerce platforms and a good understanding of underlying IT architecture and integrations.
Proven ability to lead cross-functionally and collaborate with both internal, and external stakeholders and team.
Experience working with multibrand and online marketplaces, with the ability to manage and optimise third-party marketplace operations alongside a direct-to-consumer e-commerce business.

This is a parental leave cover for minimum 8 months from June 2026, with possible extension. It is a full-time position based at TOTEME's headquarters in Stockholm with start upon agreement.
