About TOTEME

TOTEME is a fashion house rooted in Swedish sensibilities, modern aspirations and the notion of style. With an appreciation for women’s many roles and how pieces are worn in practice, we create emblematic designs with an emphasis on materiality and shape. Representing a direct and decisive way of dressing, the collections are contextualized in curated edits, visuals and spaces.

TOTEME was founded in 2014 by Elin Kling and Karl Lindman. From the atelier in Stockholm, we create collections spanning ready-to-wear, shoes, bags, accessories and jewelry.

The Role

TOTEME is looking for a Senior Retoucher to join our team in Stockholm full-time. In this role you will lead and deliver high-quality imagery across e-commerce and brand content, while owning the development of scalable, AI-assisted post-production workflows at TOTEME. Working cross-functionally, you will ensure that all imagery meets TOTEME’s premium aesthetic standards while enabling efficiency, consistency, and scale across high-volume production. You will report to the Studio director. 

Responsibilities

• Ensure all final assets consistently meet TOTEME’s brand guidelines and luxury standards across digital, e-commerce, and print outputs.

• Develop, maintain, and enforce retouching guidelines, visual standards, and asset management.

• Collaborate closely with photographers and studio teams on capture parameters (lighting, RAW workflows, file naming, metadata) to optimise post-production quality and efficiency.

• Own and lead end-to-end post-production workflows, including scheduling, prioritisation, quality control, and troubleshooting across high-volume output.

• Design, implement, and continuously optimise AI-assisted and automated retouching workflows to improve speed, scalability, and cost efficiency without compromising luxury standards.

• Exercise strong judgment in determining when to apply AI automation vs manual retouching to maintain precision, material integrity, and brand consistency.

• Evaluate, test, and integrate emerging AI imaging tools into workflows, ensuring reliability, accuracy, and aesthetic integrity.

• Mentor retouchers, providing clear feedback, technical guidance, and support in adopting new tools, workflows, and best practices.

• Participate in and contribute to TOTEME’s social and environmental sustainability strategy.

Your Profile

• 5+ years of retouching experience in luxury fashion, e-commerce, or high-end creative studio environments.

• Expert proficiency in Adobe Photoshop (advanced layer management, masking, compositing, colour correction, skin/fabric retouching).

• Experience working with AI tools such as ComfyUI.

• Strong understanding of lighting, colour workflows, texture, and brand-driven visual standards.

• Experience with batch processing, Photoshop actions/scripting, and high-volume image pipelines.

• Proven experience deploying AI-assisted retouching and automation tools in production environments.

• Experience working with high-volume e-commerce output and scaling image production efficiently.

About You

• You know when automation enhances speed and efficiency — and when a more refined, hands-on approach is needed to preserve precision, material integrity, and a luxury finish.

• Strong understanding of emerging AI and image-generation tools, with the ability to critically evaluate, test, and implement them in a luxury e-commerce production environment.

• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining high quality.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with creative directors, photographers, and production teams.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-end fashion/e-comm retouching with both manual and AI-enhanced workflows.

This is a full-time position based at TOTEME's headquarters in Stockholm starting as soon as possible.
